The identity for New York Fashion Week is rooted in a classic fashion vocabulary yet still captures the progressive energy of the event itself. We set out to create an identity that is both timeless and lives in the moment. The identity takes inspiration from the collections and collaborations of New York Fashion Week to inform its shared ligatures. The flexible relationships between the serif letterforms result in an adaptive system that works across a range of applications, whether it’s large format or small, online or offline.
